BARD does NOT engage itself in the following:
- Matters concerning pricing policies and agency remunerations.
- Matters of any other commercial policies between its members and their distribution channels.
- Matters of commercial competition and debate between BARD members.
Whilst most of the major Danish based scheduled airlines are members of BARD, the majority of the members are foreign airlines, so the views emanating from the industry association reflect the international nature of the scheduled airline business.
What is BARD?
BARD represents the interests of its member airlines on any industry issues that collectively affect them. Our roles include engaging with senior government representatives, their Departments, airport/air traffic control operators and the CAA (Luftfartstilsynet). Liaison is also maintained with other industry associations such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
BARD – The Board of Airline Representatives in Denmark is the industry association that promotes the business interests of scheduled airlines with flight operation or representation in Denmark. Members also include scheduled airlines with flight operation and representation in the Nordic countries.
